Although your dreams of travel to Portugal may not be viable right now, you can still become the envy of your Zoom call with some incredible Portugal Zoom backgrounds. Whether you like the platform or not, it’s no secret that Zoom is gaining popularity as a teleconferencing service. As we all do our part to social distance, it is important to stay connected to friends, family, and coworkers. One of Zoom’s more interesting features is the ability to set your background as a variety of different images. You can effectively green screen yourself into any setting, from the icy fictional town of Winterfell to the sunny beaches of Portugal’s Algarve.
Zoom recommends using a solid green background for best results, but any solid colored background should work. First, you have to enable the Zoom background feature. This can be done under “Meeting Settings” and the “Virtual Background” option. Once you enable this feature, you may have to log out and log back in.
When you are in a Zoom meeting, if your virtual backgrounds are enabled, you can click the arrow next to the “Start/Stop Video” on the bottom left of the screen. From there, you should be able to select whether or not you have a green screen, and then choose an image for your background. To upload your own image, you will need to click the + icon on the right side of the screen.
