I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that we really, really enjoyed our trip to Ponta Delgada last week. Thank you so much for making the arrangements for us and answering all of my questions before we left. Everything went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have asked for better hospitality while we were there.
In particular, we were so pleased with the Hotel do Colegio – the location was perfect for popping in and out throughout the day and the staff was very helpful, too. We also took two full-days tours with AVA Tours and enjoyed them immensely, especially the one led by a very personable guide named Celia. She was by far the most fluent person we encountered, and was able to offer excellent descriptions and answer questions about what we were seeing.
We’re now sorting through many, many photos so that we can share our trip with friends and family. If anyone decides to make the Azores their next vacation destination, we’ll be sure to recommend your invaluable services, too!
