Itinerary
Day 1 - Lisbon
Arrival at Lisbon Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Free rest of the day.
Day 2 - Lisbon
Lisbon tour by TUK TUK and food & wine experience. The most authentic experience of Lisbon combining history, iconic sights and portuguese gastronomy. See some of the typical Lisbon quarters from Bairro Alto to Chiado and Rossio, admire beautiful views of the ‘city of seven hils’ and experience some portuguese ‘tapas’ & wines. Duration 2:30 hours.
Day 3 & 4 - Cascais
Take the train to Cascais from Cais do Sodré train station in Lisbon. Note: Transfer from hotel to train station in Lisbon and from train station in Cascais to hotel are not included.
Change into your flip-flops and board a train for the world famous seaside village of Cascais, one of 2016’s hottest destinations. Spend two nights and two sunny days enjoying the sights and beauty of the Estoril Coast. Consider a trip to the hillside village Sintra and its famous palace or contact us for more day tour ideas.
Day 5- Cascais/Evora
Check out from your hotel in Cascais and leave the sea and head for the hills. Board a train for Evora, in the famous food- and wine-producing Alentejo countryside. Go to Lisbon at ‘Cais do Sodre ’ train station and take a taxi or the Subway to the ‘ Oriente Railway station’ in Lisbon. (Transfers from hotel in Cascais to ‘ Cais do Sodre ’ train station and from here to Oriente station’ are not included).
Take the train to Évora and travel in First Class for approximately 1h30 hours to Évora station. Transfer included from the train station to the Hotel. Check in at hotel in Évora, where you will stay for two nights on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 6 - Evora
The walled UNESCO World Heritage City walks its visitors through the history of Western Civilization, from Roman temples to Gothic cathedrals - which is why the Portuguese call Evora the "City Museum." As you explore the city's architecture, gastronomy and handicraft, you will experience a bounty of flavors, smells, colors and shapes. Roam the town and see the Roman temple, the Romanesque Gothic Cathedral, Church of Sao Francisco and the Bones Chapel.
In the afternoon, take a private transfer ( to visit a wine cellar with Wine tasting (included 1 selected wine from Fundação Eugénio de Almeida) transfer back to your Hotel at Évora (also included)
Day 7 - Evora / Lisbon
Check out of the Hotel in Évora. Transfer included to the train station, first Class tickets, from Évora to Lisbon for about 1 h 30 to Oriente railway station”. Note: Transfer from train station not included.
Return to Lisbon for one last unforgettable meal and stroll through town before your journey home.
Day 8 - Lisbon
Transfer from Hotel to the airport and return home.
