These Terms & Conditions govern use of PortugalOnline.com and the travel services arranged through Portugal Online Corp. They are intended to supplement the specific booking, payment and cancellation terms provided for individual vacation packages, quotations and supplier services.

Website Use
PortugalOnline.com may be used for legitimate travel research, inquiries, reservation requests and purchases. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website operation, submit fraudulent requests or reservations, or copy or use website content in violation of applicable intellectual-property rights.
Our Role as a Travel Agency
Portugal Online Corp arranges travel services and may act as an intermediary between travelers and independent third-party suppliers, including hotels, airlines, transportation companies, tour operators, guides, activity providers and car-rental companies.
Unless Portugal Online Corp is specifically identified as the operator of a service, the travel supplier is responsible for providing that service under its own operating terms and conditions.
Reservations and Availability
Travel services are subject to availability and confirmation. Submission of a request through the website does not by itself guarantee a reservation.
Prices, schedules, hotels, transportation, tours and other services may change before confirmation. If a requested service is unavailable, we may offer an alternative for your approval.
Package-Specific and Supplier Terms
Deposits, final-payment deadlines, cancellation rules, change fees and refund terms vary by package and supplier. The specific terms provided with your quotation, booking confirmation or package information apply to that reservation.
If a package-specific or supplier term conflicts with a general statement on this page, the specific term provided for the reservation will govern that travel service.
Payments
Payment schedules and required deposits will be disclosed before a reservation is confirmed. Travelers are responsible for paying all amounts by the stated deadlines. Failure to make a required payment may result in cancellation of services subject to the applicable booking terms.
Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
Cancellation and change penalties depend on the package, supplier and timing of the request. Some deposits, airfare, tickets, reservations or supplier charges may be non-refundable.
Refund eligibility is determined by the booking conditions applicable to the reservation and by any relevant supplier rules. Unused services may not be refundable.
Traveler Responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for reviewing and obtaining the documentation and permissions required for their trip, which may include:
- A valid passport.
- Visas or other entry authorizations when required.
- Health or entry documentation required by the destination or transportation provider.
- Accurate traveler names and information matching travel documents.
Entry requirements can change. Travelers should verify current requirements with the appropriate government authorities before departure.
Travel Insurance
Travel and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. Insurance is not automatically included unless it is specifically listed as part of a package or reservation.
Changes Outside Our Control
Travel can be affected by events outside the reasonable control of Portugal Online Corp or its suppliers, including weather, transportation disruptions, strikes, natural events, government actions, public-health restrictions, security events or other circumstances that may require changes to an itinerary or service.
When such events occur, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with available alternatives, subject to supplier policies and any additional costs that may apply.
Third-Party Suppliers
To the extent permitted by law, Portugal Online Corp is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions or failures of third-party travel suppliers. Any rights or remedies relating to a supplier-provided service may also be subject to that supplier’s terms and applicable law.
Website Content and Intellectual Property
Text, photographs, graphics, itineraries, branding and other original content on PortugalOnline.com are protected by applicable copyright, trademark and intellectual-property laws. Content may not be reproduced, republished or commercially exploited without authorization except as permitted by law.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the PortugalOnline.com Privacy Policy.
California Seller of Travel
Portugal Online Corp is registered as a California Seller of Travel, CST 2114755-40. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, except where another law must apply. Any dispute concerning these general website terms will be subject to applicable law and jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to website use from its stated update date. Terms already provided for a confirmed reservation remain subject to the booking conditions applicable to that reservation.
