Experience three distinct sides of Portugal on a 13-day, 12-night journey combining Lisbon, Madeira and the Azores. Begin with two nights in Lisbon and a full-day small-group tour of Sintra, Cascais, Belém and central Lisbon. Continue to Madeira for four nights in Funchal, then fly to São Miguel for four nights in Ponta Delgada before returning to Lisbon for two final nights.
The itinerary combines guided sightseeing with independent time. In Lisbon, explore Sintra and the Atlantic coast before returning through Belém and the city center. On Madeira, travel through mountain scenery and traditional villages on the full-day Santana excursion. On São Miguel, discover Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo on a full-day tour with lunch.
Flights between Lisbon, Madeira and São Miguel, along with the airport and hotel transfers specified in the itinerary, are included. The Lisbon excursion operates as a small-group minivan tour, while the Madeira and São Miguel sightseeing operates as regular shared touring.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Lisbon: Arrival
Arrive at Lisbon Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Check in for a two-night stay in Lisbon on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The remainder of the day is free to settle in and begin exploring the Portuguese capital at your own pace.
Day 2 - Sintra, Cascais & Lisbon: Full-Day Small-Group Tour
Depart from the designated meeting point for a full-day small-group tour by minivan combining Sintra, Cascais, Belém and central Lisbon. Lunch is not included.
Travel first to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage destination, for a guided visit to the exterior areas and gardens of Pena Palace. The Pena Palace ticket is included. Continue to Sintra’s historic center for free time to explore the winding streets, traditional shops or enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, continue to Cascais for free time in the seaside town. Return toward Lisbon for a panoramic visit to Belém, including views of Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, a stop at Jerónimos Monastery and a Pastéis de Belém tasting, which is included.
The day concludes with a panoramic introduction to central Lisbon, passing areas and landmarks such as Estrela, São Pedro de Alcântara, Cais do Sodré, Ribeira das Naus, Praça do Comércio, Largo Camões, Rossio and Restauradores.
Day 3 - Lisbon to Madeira
Check out of your Lisbon hotel and transfer to Lisbon Airport for the included flight to Madeira, approximately one hour and forty-five minutes. Upon arrival at Funchal Airport, transfer to your hotel and check in for a four-night stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Days 4-6 - Madeira: Santana Excursion & Free Time
During your four-night stay in Funchal, one full-day Santana regular tour is included. The excursion normally operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so the exact day will depend on your travel dates and the local operating schedule.
Depart Funchal and travel toward Camacha, known for traditional wickerwork, before continuing through Madeira’s mountainous interior toward Poiso and Pico do Arieiro, the island’s second-highest peak. Weather permitting, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
Descend toward Ribeiro Frio, where the itinerary may allow time for a short walk, then continue to Faial and Santana, known for its distinctive triangular thatched houses. Free time is provided for lunch; lunch is not included.
The return route continues through Porto da Cruz, Portela and Machico before returning to Funchal. Your remaining time on Madeira is free for independent sightseeing, relaxation or optional activities.
Day 7 - Madeira to São Miguel
Check out of your Funchal hotel and transfer to the airport for the included flight to Ponta Delgada on São Miguel. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in for a four-night stay on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Days 8-10 - São Miguel: Sete Cidades, Lagoa do Fogo & Free Time
During your stay on São Miguel, join a full-day regular tour to Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo, normally departing around 09:00. Lunch is included.
The tour begins with a visit to a pineapple plantation to learn about the fruit’s growing stages and sample pineapple liqueur. Continue to Pico do Carvão for panoramic views across the island before traveling toward the Sete Cidades volcanic complex.
Visit Lagoa de Santiago and continue to the Vista do Rei viewpoint for views over the Sete Cidades crater and lakes. After lunch at a local restaurant, travel to Pico da Barrosa and stop at the Lagoa do Fogo viewpoint.
The excursion concludes in Ribeira Grande, where you can see traditional local architecture and sample regional liqueurs before returning to Ponta Delgada. The remaining time on São Miguel is free for independent exploration or optional activities.
Day 11 - São Miguel to Lisbon
Check out of your Ponta Delgada hotel and transfer to the airport for the included flight back to Lisbon. Upon arrival at Lisbon Airport, transfer to your hotel and check in for the final two nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis.
Day 12 - Lisbon: Leisure Day
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Lisbon for independent sightseeing, shopping, dining or an optional experience.
Day 13 - Lisbon: Departure
Check out of your hotel and transfer to Lisbon Airport for your onward flight.

- This 2027 package is 13 days and 12 nights: 2 nights in Lisbon, 4 nights in Funchal, 4 nights in Ponta Delgada on São Miguel, and 2 final nights in Lisbon.
- The full-day Sintra, Cascais, Belém and Lisbon excursion operates as a small-group tour by minivan and departs from a designated meeting point. Lunch is not included.
- The Pena Palace ticket specified for the Lisbon-area tour is included for the exterior and gardens visit described by the supplier.
- A Pastéis de Belém tasting is included during the Lisbon sightseeing program.
- The Santana excursion is a regular full-day tour, normally operating Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Lunch is not included.
- The Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo excursion operates as a regular full-day tour and includes lunch.
- The included flights are Lisbon–Funchal, Funchal–Ponta Delgada and Ponta Delgada–Lisbon. The supplier lists a baggage allowance of one checked bag up to 23 kg / 50 lb plus one carry-on bag up to 8 kg / 17 lb, subject to airline rules.
- Lisbon city tax is not included and is listed by the supplier as €4 per person, per night, payable directly to the hotel.
